Creativity Abounds – Christmas in July – Cards/Packaging
Welcome to the Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world who hope to inspire you to make and create! Perhaps you will learn a new technique or sport a new layout in our blog hop. This month we are featuring Christmas Cards/Packaging.
This fun package idea is created with the Merriest Tags Bundle. So much fun to create with! The ready made gable boxes make this project super easy!
A Stitched Season 12×12 DSP – Cut 2 pieces 3 7/8″x 3 1/2″ and 2 pieces 2 1/2″x 3 1/3″, Basic White CS – Cut 2 pieces 1 1/2″x 3 7/8″ and 2 pieces 1 1/2″x 2 1/2″. These will be embossed with Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders – candy canes. Attach to the 4 sides of the gable box. Die cut one tag from Basic White CS and one from Real Red CS. Emboss the White tag with candy canes also. Stamp “To/From” in Hybrid Black ink. Stamp Candy Cane in Hybrid Black ink. Color with Real Red Blends and Wink of Stella. Die cut out and attach to Real Red tag with Dimensionals. Attach tags together then tie to handle with Real Red 1/4″ Stitched Ribbon. Also wrap box with ribbon. Add some Real Red & White Adhesive Peppermints to tag and box front. Perfect for a sweet little gift!
